Sylvester Torres

Sylvester Torres joined Covington’s in 2012 as part of the sales team. Starting from those humble beginnings, he dedicated himself to learning every aspect of the nursery business, gaining knowledge from customers and colleagues alike. He has stacked up many responsibilities over the years, including high-volume sales, maintenance and repair of grow houses and equipment, and selecting the high-quality plants and materials Covington’s is known for. His tenacious drive, excellent work ethic, and easy-going personality made him the obvious choice to be our new Wholesale Manager. He cares deeply for people and the planet, and his work mantra shines through when he’s interacting with clients: “Treat every customer as if it were their first time.”
