A showy new Texas sage hybrid with silvery, cupped, mostly evergreen foliage that contrasts beautifully with large magenta-purple blooms. Flowers cover the branch tips throughout summer and burst open after rain or humid spells, the classic “barometerush” show. Extremely drought-tolerant and at home in reflected heat and well-drained soil, it handles North Texas summers with very little water once established. Use it as a colorful informal hedge, screen, or specimen in sunny beds, planting in well-drained soil to keep it healthy.
