Paper Tree Wrap

Breathable tree wrap to prevent sun scald on young trees. Wrap around the trunk with one layer from just above ground level to the lowest branches. Secure by tucking under a layer or simply staple to the trunk. Apply in late spring and remove in fall when the temperatures moderate.

Beneficial for trees that have smooth bark when young, which are more susceptible to scald. Especially maples and oaks.
