Joan Lionetti Texas Live Oak

This selection of the Texas Live Oak carries the traits of the native live oaks found in the the Hill Country of Texas. Joan Lionetti was selected for its smaller size and drought tolerance, along with sparce acorn production. Able to withstand the arid conditions of the desert southwest, it makes a great addition to provide shade for any water-wise garden. It grows with a more compact and upright habit than the more common Southern Live Oak found in north Texas. Semi-evergreen.
