A well-behaved, dwarf evergreen shrub with rich burgundy foliage that holds its deep color year-round rather than fading in the heat, making it a standout performer through North Texas summers. Deep red-pink, fringe-like blooms arrive in spring a bit later than other loropetalums, helping them dodge late frost damage. Its compact, rounded habit fits neatly into borders, foundation beds, or mass plantings, needing little more than occasional shaping to stay tidy.
