A bold, larger-flowered selection of fountain grass prized for its striking dark burgundy-red bottlebrush plumes, which rise well above the fine-textured green foliage from midsummer through fall before fading to tan. The mounded, fountain-like form adds movement and season-long interest to borders, mass plantings, or as a focal accent, and the dried plumes persist nicely into winter. Extremely low-maintenance and drought-tolerant once established, it thrives in North Texas heat and takes our clay soils in stride.
