Jungle Velvet Calathea

‘Jungle Velvet’ Calathea exhibit large, intricately patterned leaves with purple undersides, and take their colloquial namesake from the fuzzy, velvet like texture of their leaves, especially evident in the formation of new growth. The leaves are especially large for a Calathea, and can reach upwards of 18″.

Light: Medium – bright indirect light.

Water: Let top layer dry before watering.
