Fishhook Barrel Cactus

The long, red, curved thorns produced by the Fishhook Barrel Cactus give this specimen a very unique look that carries throughout the growth of the tree. During late spring, a rosette of orange-red blooms appear around the top, followed by round, pear-shaped fruit that turns yellow when ripe. Native to Arizona and Mexico.
