Banana Ice Cream

‘Blue Java’ bananas are cold-tolerant and, like tall bananas of the ABB Group, are wind-resistant because of their strong pseudostems and root systems. The leaves are silvery green in color. Grows about 10-15′ tall.

Light: Bright indict light.

Water: Let dry half way before watering.

Fruit: The fruit bunches are small, bearing seven to nine hands & are about 7–9″ in length, exhibiting a silvery blue color when unripe. They turn a pale yellow when ripe, with white creamy flesh resembling the taste of vanilla icecream. They bloom around 15 to 24 months after planting and can be harvested after 115 to 150 days.
