Mexican Lime
Citrus aurantifolia
The small green fruit of this citrus tree is very juicy and delicious. Known as “bartender’s lime”. As a dwarf tree this variety is well suited for a container use. The wonderfully fragrant flowers just add to the value. Must be moved indoors during freezing weather. The original lime has thorns while an improved variety is thornless. Self fertile.
