Sonia’s Plant Pick of the Week – Double Dynamite Crape Myrtle

This new variety of crape myrtle is Sonia’s plant pick this week because it’s sooooo colorful and beautiful, and it has special powers…it blooms continuously! No seeds are formed and flowering is continuous for 100 days or more on the same panicle, providing season long flowers – uninterrupted!

The big wow comes from Double Dynamite’s bright cherry-red flowers and deep burgundy foliage. It’s also disease resistant, heat and drought tolerant once established, and attracts pollinators. This heavily branched crape myrtle reaches only 8 to 10 feet tall and wide making it an excellent choice for smaller urban yards and mass plantings. Plant in full sun.

We’ve got Double Dynamite in 3, 7 and 15 gallon containers…..plant now to enjoy their gorgeous blooms!
