Jesse’s Plant Pick of the Week – Tiger Eyes Sumac

Jesse loves Tiger Eyes Sumac for their beautiful leaf color and unique furry branches.  This upright deciduous shrub has new growth of vivid chartreuse green, that changes to bright yellow in the summertime. The leaf stems are purplish-pink and provide a dramatic contrast to the lemon-lime leaves. An added bonus is the gorgeous fall foliage colors in shades of yellow, orange and scarlet.

Tiger Eyes grows to 6 feet tall and wide, is drought tolerant once established, and is very cold hardy. Plant in full sun to part shade.

We can’t always get this plant, but we have them right now so come in and see Jesse or any of our sales team and get yours before they’re gone!
