Our Plant Pick of The Week – East Palatka Holly

We adore this evergreen shrub (or small tree) for its lustrous and elongated green leaves and the bright red berries it produces during winter.
This holly is adaptable to wet or dry soils and has a pyramidal growth pattern. It will grow to reach a height of 15-20′ tall x 15′ wide at maturity and makes a great privacy screen.
The East Palatka thrives in full sun or partial shade and can tolerate a broad range of soils, so they are ideal for our area. Let them grow naturally or prune them to shape. It will look beautiful either way!
