Aubrey’s Plant of The Week: Pink Plumetastic Muhly Grass

Fall is the season when Pink Plumetastic Muhly Grass looks the prettiest, with its almost iridescent pink plumes that shimmer in the sun and wind.  From late summer to fall, these delicate flowers can provide an almost airy effect to your landscape.
This Muhly grass is also a very drought tolerant grass that looks especially attractive planted in mass. It is a fast-growing perennial that grows to about 3 feet tall and wide, with very narrow foliage. Plant this striking ornamental grass in a sunny, well-drained area, and it will thrive!
