Take a rare glimpse of a native Chase, hiding in his natural habitat, the Eastern Red Cedar.
Though technically a juniper, Chase’s Plant Pick of the Week is fantastic for creating privacy or wind screens, and is tough as nails. The Eastern Red Cedar tolerates extreme heat, cold, drought, and wind, and thrives in a wide range of soils. It can grow up to 50 feet tall, and when treed up, provides excellent shade. Its bright green needles mix well with leafy trees, and they don’t drop leaves for winter, so the kiddos and Chase will have an awesome Hide and Seek spot year-round.
