Q: Should I rotate my houseplants?
A: Rotating your houseplants is important because most plants naturally grow toward their light source. Turning them every so often helps promote even growth, keeps them balanced, and prevents them from leaning or becoming lopsided. That said, some plants especially climbers trained on a moss pole like monstera or philodendron don’t need regular rotation. These plants are meant to grow in one direction, attaching and climbing upward, so keeping them facing the same way actually supports their natural growth pattern and helps them establish stronger, healthier structure.
