A bold, architectural evergreen with rigid, sword-like blue-green leaves edged in gold that mellows to soft cream, forming a striking rosette that eventually develops a trunk with age. Spikes of showy white flowers rise above the foliage in summer, drawing pollinators. Extremely drought-tolerant once established and unbothered by our alkaline clay soils, it’s a low-maintenance, deer-resistant choice for xeriscapes, rock gardens, or as a bold accent among North Texas perennial beds.
