Twist Blue Leaf Yucca
Yucca rupicola x pallida
A compact, stemless yucca hybrid bred from two Texas Hill Country natives, prized for its striking blue-gray, twisted foliage that forms tidy rosettes even in tight spaces. Tall spikes of creamy white flowers rise well above the leaves in late spring and summer, serving as a host plant for skipper butterflies. Extremely drought-tolerant and unfussy about North Texas soils once established, it’s an excellent low-water accent for rock gardens, borders, or xeriscape beds.
