A bold, architectural agave forming a large, open rosette of broad, pale blue-gray leaves with spiny tips and finely toothed edges. At maturity, a towering branched stalk of bright yellow flowers rises 15-20 feet above the plant. Extremely drought-tolert once established, it’s hardy enough for DFW winters in well-drained soil. Afternoon shade helps in the hottest part of a North Texas summer.
