A compact, naturally rounded boxwood with lush, glossy emerald-green foliage that stays bright and healthy through winter. Its dense, mounding habit holds a tidy shape with very little shearing, making it a favorite for low hedges, formal borders, foundation plantings, and containers. Tolerant of heat and alkaline soils, it adapts well to North Texas landscapes when planted in well-drained soil, and it stays evergreen and attractive year-round with little more than occasional watering during dry spells.
