Last week, Covington’s long-time public relations specialist, Mary Coon, retired after 14 years and endless contributions to the nursery. She helped start the Fall Festival and Food Drive, created our Flower Fundraiser, and has kept customers updated on all the latest news via e-newsletters, paper newsletters, social media, and our website and blog. She has handled donations, advertising, class creation and scheduling, as well as helped launch our beautiful website. It’s impossible to list all of her invaluable contributions, but one this is for certain: she has left a lasting footprint in the office and nursery and will be greatly missed by everyone. We wish her an abundance of happiness in this new chapter and look forward to her visits to the nursery.
