Bri’s Plant of the Week-Red Confederate Rose

The vibrant color and showy, 8 inch blooms of the Red Confederate Rose hardy hibiscus are what caught Bri’s eye this week. Blooming abundantly from early summer until frost, these raspberry-hued flowers add saturated color to your garden or landscape. The Red Confederate Rose can grow up to 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide, but we have many other hardy varieties in different heights, colors, and petal shapes. As with all hardy hibiscus, plant  her in a sunny, well-drained location and watch this low-maintenance perennial re-emerge each spring!

Check out our slide show below, and then stop by and let Bri show you our Big Hit (red, white, pink, and triple – which includes all three colors), Lord Baltimore, Turn of the Century, Kopper King, Flare, Pink Confederate Rose, Texas Star (white or red) Cranberry Punch and more.
