Holdan’s Plant Pick of the Week – Eldarica Pine

Eldarica Pines are large evergreens with medium green needles on stems that are usually to ground level.  They are commonly used as living Christmas trees, then afterwards planted in the landscape.

These upright, fast-growing trees reach 30-40 feet tall and 15-20 feet wide, and they are very heat and drought tolerant once established. They look great planted in groups and are widely used for natural fences or privacy screens, as well as for noise and wind breaks. Plant them in well-drained areas in full sun.
