Covington’s Fall Festival Winners

Thanks to everyone who braved the rainy weather and came to our 11th Annual Fall Festival last Saturday!  The number of people who attended just shows how awesome our customers are!!!!  We had a great time and we hope you did too.  We also want to thank the students in the National Honor Society at Rowlett & Lakeview High Schools. You were all such troopers to come out and help us at the festival!  We are proud of you and so appreciative that you followed through on your commitment to come and volunteer your services!

We announced several contest winners at the festival including Ben Ellis who won the huge jar of candy in our Candy Contest.  Tracey presented Ben with his prize and said Ben guessed 582 pieces of candy and the jar contained 588 pieces!

In our Guess the Weight of the Big Pumpkin Contest, the pumpkin weighed 265 pounds, and Daisy Nayola’s  guess was exactly 265!  She won a $25 Covington’s gift card!

We had 96 colorful pumpkins in our Painted Pumpkin Contest.  26 of them painted by 5 to 12 year old boys and girls at Covington’s Pumpkin Painting Workshop on October 6th, and the others painted and decorated by 7th grade art students at Coyle Middle School in Rowlett. The winners you chose were:
