Duane is a landscape designer passionate about creating outdoor spaces that are sustainable, functional, and ecologically responsible. With a Master’s in Sustainable Landscape Design from The George Washington University and experience in both design and nursery work, he blends creativity with a deep respect for the natural environment. Influenced by visionaries like Frank Lloyd Wright, Santiago Calatrava, and Piet Oudolf, Duane’s designs celebrate biodiversity, native plants, and the balance between beauty and purpose. His work reflects a belief that landscapes should not only inspire but also sustain life—supporting pollinators, conserving resources, and enriching their surroundings. Outside of design, Duane enjoys life with his wife and two children, exploring nature through skiing, snowboarding, travel, and photography.
