Plant of the Week – Texas Mountain Laurel

If you are looking for a smaller size evergreen tree to accent a sunny spot in your landscape, Texas Mountain Laurel is a great choice. This Texas native has dense glossy green foliage, and in early spring they bloom profusely with lavender/purple wisteria-like clusters of flowers which are extremely fragrant….everyone says they smell like grape soda or Kool-Aid!

Texas Mountain Laurels are slow growers that reach 12-15 feet tall and 10-12 feet wide. Plant them in very well drained soil, and once established, they are heat and drought tolerant and require little maintenance.

We have many in stock, and right now select 5 gallon Texas Mountain Laurels are 20% Off.
